Portland-style food carts are unique!

If you've ever been to Portland, Oregon you are probably familiar with their food cart scene. All types of international cuisine can be found there, from burritos to fried chicken, handmade noodles, Korean BBQ and everything in between. In fact, Portland has the highest number of food carts per capita within the continental USA. What else can be noted is that the style of these carts is rather unique.

Visitors can get hungry and thirsty walking around the grounds. A well-placed cart such as this one can be a big hit vending ice cream, soft serve, slushies, drinks, beer, coffee, cocktails, BBQ and cool snacks. Of course you can easily create a nice little eating environment by adding a few tables and chairs where your guests can site and enjoy some snacks while looking at a nearby park, garden or pool area.

You can see why these designs are very popular. Not only are they a very versatile, durable and customizable commercial grade cart, they can also be used to offer just about any type of cuisine one can imagine. A cart purpose-built for outdoor vending

This all-aluminum cart is designed from the ground up for outdoor commercial vending and should last 20 years or more. It should always look almost as good as the day it was delivered if it is taken care of. Aluminum does not fade, crack or wear like wood does. Aluminum is very strong, relatively light-weight and can be powder coated in any color you can imagine.

It has locking casters, heavy duty construction and an aluminum canopy. A breaker panel, electrical plugs and lighting can be added. This unit contains a POS station area and can even be designed to contain display fridges and freezers. I It can be manufactured in any size or dimension. The dimensions of the example shown is 7 x 14 feet.

Your Portland-style cart will be highly safe and secure when unattended. It is fully lockable for after-hours storage. Since the unit is on casters, it is fully mobile if you wish to transfer it to another location.

Customization

Your cart can be customized in many different ways, such as a peaked roof, sloped roof or flat roof. It can be painted in any color you wish. Cart-King can manufacture these carts with lighted signage. It can be adorned in complex graphical wraps and signage or simple vinyl stickers to compete the look you are wanting to attain. We can also include self-contained, portable sink units that provide running water.

Like all of our food carts, the Portland-style cart has the ability to add your own business graphics, colors and logos. Cart-King uses 3D CAD modeling to provide our customers with a visualization of their cart before the design goes to manufacturing. The end result is complete customization to your hotel or resort's outdoor vending needs, finishings and requirements.
