FOOD TRUCK DESIGN

Mobile kitchen truck designed for serious street food, catering, and beverage sales

Cart-King’s custom food truck projects were designed for entrepreneurs ready to scale their mobile food business. Built from welded aluminum or stainless steel, each unit was engineered to support a wide range of cuisines, from hot dogs and tacos to coffee, smoothies, or gourmet meals.

Designed as a full-service kitchen on wheels, the truck featured refrigeration, freezers, grills, fryers, and prep areas configured to match the client’s menu. Self-contained sink units with clean and grey water tanks met local health codes, while strategically placed service windows optimized visibility and customer flow.

Project Objective

Design a fully equipped food truck with:

  • Welded aluminum or stainless steel body
  • Dual service windows for high-traffic events
  • Integrated refrigeration, cooking, and prep equipment
  • Self-contained sink unit with hot and cold water
  • Locking casters or fixed wheels for mobility

Build Features

  • Commercial-grade kitchen equipment (customized per project)
  • Refrigerators, freezers, grills, fryers, or ovens
  • Food-safe counters and moisture-resistant interior finishes
  • Dual “eye-level” windows for product display and service
  • Locking entry door and service windows
  • Ventilation system for heat and smoke control
  • Fully wired for electrical and plumbing needs

Note: Appliances and final equipment specified per client requirements.

  • Street food vendors selling tacos, burgers, or sandwiches
  • Mobile coffee or smoothie trucks at festivals or urban hubs
  • Catering businesses serving private events or pop-ups
  • Branded food trucks for promotional or seasonal sales

What this truck solves

This project delivered a robust, mobile food service platform designed for flexibility, compliance, and daily use. With full cooking and refrigeration capabilities, operators could serve complex menus on-site, adapting to changing customer trends or event locations.

Compared to smaller kiosks or carts, food trucks offer greater cooking power, menu flexibility, and on-board utilities. With a truck, vendors gain the freedom to pivot between lunch crowds, late-night events, and private catering without the need for multiple units. Locking casters or fixed wheels provide stability when parked and easy relocation when needed.
