Our food and beverage carts are the result of many years of experience and development. The first cart shown was designed for Mother Parkers Tea & Coffee.
Designed for food-safe mobile vending
This cart design had two main objectives. The first and most important, to ensure safe food handling. This was done using food-safe materials such as aluminum for the countertops. Underneath the counter area is locking cabinets that contain storage, a fridge and electrical outlets.
The second objective was effective mobile vending. This food cart is built to be the perfect attention grabber on wheels. There is an on-board digital menu LCD screen allows you to implement your images and sound at the point of sale.
The illuminated plexiglass base draws the customer eye from afar and has the ability to illuminate any color you want. There is also overhead signage to display your food and beverage offerings, brand and logo. The base sits on heavy duty locking wheels to ensure mobility and ease of moving from location to location
The evolution of our food cart design
This early design became the prototype for our current line of mobile food carts and coffee carts. The second cart shown shows how the design evolved. It was designed for Fog Dogs in San Francisco.
Design and functionality matter when you are looking to increase sales in a food business. Expanding on our earlier experience and listening to the needs of vendors, a more portable, modular design was developed.
Mobile and versatile cart design
Notice how the Fog Dogs cart had become more of a modular design, which served as the concept for our current line. Rather than illuminated plastics, it used powder-coated aluminum built on a tubular steel base which made it light and strong. That allowed it to be even more mobile and transportable than our previous design.
This also created another advantage. It could be wrapped in a custom vinyl graphics design aligned with your brand. Again, the overhead signage was easily customized to Fog Dog’s colors and branding. It became quite a versatile cart with a powerful punch.
Customizing the food cart
This cart has the ability to add your own business graphics, colors and logos. It can be customized by using our graphical template which can be printed, cut and then applied as a graphical wrap. This will turn a "non-custom" pre-fabricated food cart into a fully custom-looking, branded business on wheels.
The nice thing of being modular is that you can easily add to it. One of the best additions that can be added seamlessly is our self-contained, aluminum portable sink. It is made in the USA, compliant with all food handling regulations and can also be wrapped in matching vinyl graphics.
Running water will be most likely required by your state for food preparation. It also tells the customer that cleanliness and food safety is a priority.
