This beautiful outdoor locking retail kiosk was designed for the Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla gift shop. The purpose was to extend the reach of their store by providing a mobile point-of-sale platform to sell gifts and cards destined for the patients staying at the hospital.
It is built from powder-coated aluminum so that it's light, mobile and durable. The paint will not chip or fade as it's electrostatically applied to the metal.
Designed for mobile retail sales
The design of this outdoor kiosk was carefully thought out. The idea was to provide the most secure retail sales area possible in the smallest footprint. To accomplish this, a square retail merchandiser unit design was used, giving access to the four-sided interior slatwall display from all sides.
To secure the merchandise after hours, four large and locking roll-down commercial doors were used. The inventory was illuminated by the use of LED lighting.
