Outdoor poolside cart with terracotta roof, wood body, fridge, freezer, and secure storage

This custom poolside retail cart was designed for La Costa Resort and Spa to serve food, beverages, and retail concessions in a sun-filled outdoor setting. Crafted with hand-stained wood and a terracotta roof, the cart was designed to blend seamlessly into hotel, resort, or waterpark surroundings, with custom colors available to match modern or southwestern styles.

Measuring 6 x 8 feet, the unit featured floor-to-ceiling slatwall on three sides, a display fridge and freezer, a full point-of-sale area, electrical wiring, lighting, and secure storage. Eight eye-level merchandise display zones and six locking casters provided flexibility and mobility for changing guest traffic patterns.

Project Objective

Design an outdoor pool cart with:

  • Hand-stained wood body and terracotta roof
  • Floor-to-ceiling slatwall on three sides
  • POS area with electrical and lighting
  • Integrated fridge and freezer display
  • Eight eye-level merchandise display zones
  • Large inventory storage (125 cubic feet)
  • Four roll-down locking security doors
  • Six locking casters for mobility
